Hopefully the safety nets will protect her from a tough road. I did what I could and sent her to the places that exist for help with this sort of thing.There is a particular emotional state that occurs on days like today, a chest sensation that actually does fit the expression "heavy heart" rather well. I don't recommend it.

Sirocco, I can respect a man who knows when he has no clue, and in this situation, you correctly surmise that, indeed, you have no idea what is going on. That's ok. I promise it is worth the wait, and I take nothing more seriously than my word.

Today, I sit anxiously by a fax machine, eager to receive a copy of a certain letter sent to certain elected officials, a letter which is a piece of shit if my meters work correctly.
It does not involve spirits or anything to do with folks discussed in that book.
It does, however, without getting too weird too soon, push reality's envelope.
Certain folks with a certain perception are tapped into certain stuff.

Actually, on the clothing thing I had no clue and just guessed. It felt funny at the time. Now it just reads a little silly.
Regarding the letter, I got it. Still formulating what to do. Your intuition is accurate. It is unlikely to be nothing.
I don't know who knows what, but speculate folks are talking, and I am glad I'm not the author of that letter, who is almost certainly on a collision course with something he will not like.
Things are really starting to leak now. The time is short.
