The Face of Death

Special thanks to Casey for calling my attention to this montage (full size here) of Eggplant made with the faces of soldiers killed in Iraq. The particularly unsettling image made me nauseas. Every face is a life cut short, most of them never reaching legal drinking age. On a better planet, Eggplant, Cheney, and Rove would be tried for treason.

Then we could hand Dick and Bush over to an international tribunal to face charges for crimes against humanity.

Very powerful, and painful.

I'm sorry, X4mr, Dick and Bush will never pay. They are more likely to collect upwards of one million dollars for each of their speaking engagements after leaving office. They will surround themselves with their fans, and ignore the rest.

It brings up some interesting questions about the rule of law, don't you think?

Liza's right.

People should click on x4mr's link to the full scale image, which allows you to see the people killed.

Repulsive and disturbing, it does cause the stomach to turn. Just awful. Thanks, x4mr and Casey. It makes me sick, but it is worth seeing and showing to others. God help us.

I can almost taste the blood in my mouth.

What a vile, disgusting creature.

A list of questions has been resubmitted, and we expect to have Maura Policelli, the Congresswoman's Chief of Staff, join us and answer a few questions. Join us for another lively and thoughtful conversation.
