Good Game Coming

Your humble blogger grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, so one might anticipate a certain animosity towards a particular arrogant football team located an easy day's drive to the east in what was once the steel capital of the world, Pittsburgh. The Bengals have a rivalry with the Steelers equal to if not exceeding that with the Browns.

On Sunday the Steelers square off against my favorite team, already established as the Patriots. Everyone wants to beat the still undefeated Patriots (12-0), who are so good that some have suggested watching them play is boring. Not true, as last Monday amply demonstrated. Baltimore poured their hearts into it and gave the Pats one tough game.

The Steelers (9-3) have a reputation for over-fondness of themselves and like to mouth off. Sure enough, they've gone and done it again. Safety Anthony Smith just couldn't keep his mouth shut and guaranteed a Pittsburgh victory this coming Sunday in New England. Good going, Anthony. You just bought yourself an ass-whooping I am going to enjoy.

The Steelers actually have a decent chance to beat the evil empire, and won't piss it away, unlike the team formerly known as the Cleveland Browns did last week.

I picked the Stealers this week. NE's been figured out. I see San Diego beating them in the 2nd round of the playoffs.

O ye of little faith in the team that's so good it's "boring" to watch.

I'm sure the Steelers will have a very boring afternoon tomorrow;-)

Neither team has it easy tomorrow.

The Pats are old. They were just plain lucky to win their last 2 games. If the Steelers follow the "game plan", they will beat the Pats tomorrow.

Two weeks ago they're so phenomenal that they're a bore to watch, and now they're old?

It will be interesting to see how well the undefeated geezers chew steel tomorrow.

It is very hard to make it through an entire season without losing once. If the Pats drop one, tomorrow's the day. The U of A could beat the Dolphins.

If Pats prevail tomorrow, I think they have it until the playoffs.
